Training Program Description

Cybersecurity Awareness Basic Training is an educational program that teaches individuals to become aware and acknowledge that they are the first human line of defense to their companies’ digital assets from hackers and cyber criminals. This training is designed specifically for the end user. The training incorporates the current methods being used by threat actors/hackers and you can make better decisions on defeating their attempts. We all live in a society that is fast and moving and sending and receiving information can go unchallenged, which is what the threat actors are betting on.  The training offers guidance to help each person improve their organization’s risk posture via smarter interactions within the digital world. The instructor will talk with the audience, not “at them,”.  The curriculum is designed to be interactive and promote engagement from the attendees.

Program Outcomes

Cybersecurity Awareness Basic Training will help students gather an understanding of how the interactions with social media and different email platforms can potentially be detrimental to their privacy and their company’s security posture. The training will present individuals with information and recommended practices they can immediately implement and adopt into their everyday lives that will help protect their organizations and themselves from cyber-attacks.
